SSAFA Dame Vera Lynn Victory print
Commissioned by forces charity SSAFA and the Howarth 1940s charity, the brief was to design and produce a limited edition print in celebration of the 70 year anniversary of VE and VJ day.
All proceeds were donated to SSAFA
Limited to just 70 copies, each was hand signed by ‘Forces Sweetheart’ Dame Vera Lynn. The print went onto raise a significant amount of money which was donated to SSAFA, the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families charity. The print was reissued for Dame Vera Lynn’s 100th birthday and went on to raise more money for her ‘Children’s Charity’ through sales at the London Palladium.
