SSAFA Dambusters Print
Commissioned by forces charity SSAFA and the Howarth 1940's charity, the brief was to design and produce a limited edition print of a Lancaster bomber to celebrate the 70 year anniversary of operation ‘Chastise’.
£9,000 raised to help ex-service personnel and their families
Limited to just 70 copies, each was hand signed by Squadron Leader George ‘Johnny’ Johnson, MBE, DFM, the last surviving member of RAF 617 Squadron and the ‘Dambusters’ raid of 1943. It was a great honor and a privilege to meet the man in person at his home during the signing of the rapidly sold out edition.
